Clean Streets Hero in East Hollywood.

Clean Streets Hero, Cheron McAleece from the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council leads volunteers who work hard to keep the communities of Los Angeles clean.

Cheron McAleece has been living in East Hollywood for several years and has really made her mark in the community with some outstanding community-building monthly neighborhood clean-ups that she has coordinated with the help of so many volunteers and community organizations that show up to do their part in improving the community’s quality of life. She has also learned to partner with Councilman Mitch O’Farrell’s Office, the Public Works Department’s Bureau of Sanitation, and the Office of Community Beautification who have been supporting her efforts in providing tools and trash pick-up. She also continues her fight to keep Los Angeles clean by working with the Council Office and the City Attorney’s Office to address blighted properties in her neighborhood.
