Our upcoming Love the Neighborhood Initiative is going to be very exciting and our biggest one yet! This Saturday, November 5th we will be offering a special "Foothill Blvd Edition" of our Love the Neighborhood Initiative. "What does that entail?" you may ask; it is a collaborative effort between Sunland Foursquare Church, the STNC Safe Streets committee and the Neighborhood Watch to clean up and beautify the entirety of Foothill Blvd in Sunland-Tujunga. We will be holding a MyLA311 app training as well as a fun scavenger hunt using the 311 app to tag bulky items for pick-up/clean-up as we love the neighborhood together! Once again, we are expecting the greatest turnout ever and would love for you to be a part of this amazing movement that is tangibly and positively transforming our neighborhood!

The Glassell Park Improvement Association invites you to help clean up the Crestmoore Steps!

The “Flash Cleanup” idea is to give a short time--45 minutes--that won’t get in the way of our busy weekends. We come together, care for our community, finish and go. The more people who show up the more trash and weeds get cleaned up.

Please join us at the foot of the steps on Crestmoore Street off Verdugo Road, and don’t forget to bring your own sun protection, work gloves and water.

Contact Jim Kiehl to RSVP or to join our team for future clean ups.

Thank you to Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo’s office for their assistance with trash pickup after the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
